- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Complete Parachute Systems for the purchase of (1) SOV3-HH Sole System (6 ring system), AF-003 Item # CPS-SOV3-HH-398, Qty: 24 each. (2) TR-375 Reserve Canopy Item # CPS-TR-375, Qty: 24 each. (3) MS-360 M2 Main Canopy w/ss hardware and nomex Item #CPS-MS-360-M2, Qty: 24 each. (4) Pouch Radio?zip on Item # CPS-POUCH-RADIO-1, Qty: 24 each. Conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm?s ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide a rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must responded to RFP number FA4877-05-Q-0521 by 18 September 2005, 13:00 PST to TSgt Jerry Sauder, 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd., Tucson, AZ 85707. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs connected with providing the capability information.
