- Under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1, only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements for the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, located at University Drive C, Pittsburgh, PA 15240. The VA intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Fischer Imaging Corp, 12300 North Grant Street, Denver, CO 80241 to provide Bloom Electrophysiology Programmable Stimulator System for the Cardiology Activation project. Fischer Imaging Corp acquired Bloom in 1991. Anyone wishing to respond to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that they can meet this requirement. Interested parties have until September 21, 2005 at 9:00 AM to submit their qualifications and capabilities in writing. Such qualifications and capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
