- Contractor to provide all labor, subcontractors included, tools, equipment supplies, weights, materials, expertise and supervision necessary to perform annual safety tests and semiannual inspections on 19 elevators and 3 dumbwaiters, also, 11 traction elevators will have the five year full load, full speed tests performed during the first month of the contract period, maximum capacity is 5,000 lbs. The equipment is located in various buildings located at the VA Medical Center, Hampton, VA. Work will be accomplished in accordance with Statement of Work and contract specifications from the date of award through through September 30, 2006 with four (4) 12 month renewable option periods. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. The solicitation will be made available on or about September 14, 2005 in electronic form at the Business Opportunities Website. www.bos.oamm.va.gov Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted on the website.
