- The Aberdeen Area Indian Health Service (IHS) is soliciting proposals from interested firms to provide ophthalmology services at the Quentin N. Burdick Memorial Health Care Facility (QNBMHCF) located in Belcourt, North Dakota. The ophthalmologist(s) shall provide consultative, diagnostic, and subspecialty ophthalmologic care and treatment in, but not limited to cataract, glaucoma, pediatric ophthalmology, corneal/external ocular disease, retinal/vitreal disorders, oculoplastics and neuro-ophthalmology. This shall include surgical services, general ocular medical services and remote consultation services. The IHS anticipates the award of a fixed price, indefinite quantity, performance based type of contract for (1) one base year plus (3) three option years. RFP-05-16 will be published and available for distribution approximately 15 days form publication of this notice. Solicitation closing date is tentatively scheduled for October 28, 2005.
