Description
The U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center anticipates awarding a firm fixed price requirements type contract for the Repair /Replacement of Tech Communication 5025-A Direction Finder Equipment and TC-6526 Direction Finder Antennas. 1. NSN 585-01-467-2409, TC-5025A, DF Processor/Receivers, P/N 50251041, Mfr: Tech Communication Inc. Total Estimated Qty 40 each. 2. NSN 4985-01-493-3476,TC-6526, DF Antenna, P/N 65260301, Mfr: Tech Comm Inc,. Total Est. Qty 40 each. 3. NSN 5985-01-517-1472, Dipole Antenna, P/N TC-6526/SA, Mfr: Tech Comm. Inc., Total Est. Qty. 10 each 4. NSN 5985-01-517-1576, Antenna Elements, P/N 15600046601, Mfr: Tech Comm. Inc., Total Est Qty 10 each. All repaired or replacement material must meet form, fit, function and compatibility criteria of the currently supported assemblies being used in the TC-5025, Direction Finder. Repairs shall be made in accordance with USCG ELC Statement of Work (to be provided electronically with solicitation). It is the Government?s intention to solicit and negotiate solely with Tech Communications Inc. as they are the original source for this equipment and the only source that has the required capabilities and system to purchase and repair these parts and assemblies. The Coast Guard does not possess the data rights to the specification, drawings, equipment mock ups, test fixtures, testing, environmental controls, quality assurance and documentation necessary to perform the repairs. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to USCG ELC, Baltimore, MD 21226. Inspection and Acceptance will be done at destination. It is the responsibility of potential offerors to monitor the EPS system for future notices and changes. This is not a request for proposal, therefore; no cost or price information shall be submitted at this time. It is the Coast Guard ELC?s intention to advertise a solicitation for requirements within 25 days of this Sources Sought notice. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by this agency. *****
