Description
Subject: Request for Quote 306-05-004 APSO for the USAID/Afghanistan Alternative Livelihoods Program The US Agency for International Development, Afghanistan Procurement Support Office located in Bangkok, Thailand in conjunction with the USAID Mission in Kabul, Afghanistan intends to award up to three GSA schedule task orders utilizing the following SINs with a single contractor or preferentially a Contractor Teaming Arrangement or consortia: MOBIS (874), FABS (520), PES (871), Logistics Worldwide (874), and Environmental Services (899). The utilization of the above listed SINs is at the discretion of the contractor or team in order to deliver the desired outcomes in the Statement of Work (SOW). USAID anticipates awarding up to three (3) time and materials-type task orders under this procurement. The length of the order term is to begin no later than January 2005 and will extend for 48 months thereafter, based upon the availability of funds and USAID/Afghanistan program priorities. USAID encourages organizations holding the applicable GSA schedule contracts to indicate their interest in these task orders by submitting a quote in accordance with the instructions provided in the RFQ. USAID is encouraging GSA schedule contract holders to form Contractor Teaming Arrangements or to augment their technical expertise with the appropriate subcontractors. Organizations not holding GSA schedule contracts but who are still interested in participating in this activity may serve as subcontractors to a GSA schedule contract holding prime contractor. Such organizations may obtain a copy of the RFQ by submitting their request to the following email address: apsobangkok@usaid.gov. GSA schedule holders may access the RFQ by logging onto GSA's E-Buy website which can be accessed at http://www.gsaadvantage.gov or http://www.ebuy.gsa.gov.
