- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR HYDRAULIC PUMP. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to acknowledge questions submitted before or on the Technical questions response date in regards to this solicitation. The following questions were asked and answers given: Question 1. Can the sound requirement be met without an enclosure? If so will it be acceptable? A: It is acceptable if the sound requirement can be met without an enclosure, provided sound absorbing blankets are not used (the use of sound absorbing blankets is prohibited in "System" section of the specification). Question 2. What is the allowable Hydraulic tempature range?WHat is the maximum allowable tempature A: The maximum normal operating temperature range of the hydraulic system is 105? F to 110? F. The Over Temperature Light should illuminate at 130? F. The response date will NOT be extended. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet.
