Description
The General Services Administration?s Public Buildings Service (GSA/PBS) intends to issue a contract to The University of California?s Center for the Built Environment (CBE) under the authority of FAR 6.302-3: Industrial mobilization; engineering, developmental, or research capability; or expert services. This procurement is for the purpose of enhancing the reporting and analysis capabilities for using the CBE Occupant Survey to assess facility management performance in GSA facilities. The PBS Office of Applied Science is acquiring these services in order to help prepare GSA for the streamlined ?deep dive? information gathering process at baseline sites by consolidating various surveys used by the WorkPlace 20*20 team and integrating the necessary elements of those surveys into the CBE WorkPlace 20*20 instrument. In addition, the reporting tool?s data visualization aspects will be improved as well as further developing its data exploration capabilities. The proposed contract is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-3. The NAICS code is 541710. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will consider all responses received by 3:00 p.m. est., Wednesday, September 21, 2005. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Inquiries will only be accepted by Fax at (202)208-7413 to the attention of Demetria Brown or by email at Demetria.Brown@GSA.Gov.
