- NAICS Code: 541620 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Protection Partnerships Division (CPPD) in Washington, DC intends to award a Purchase Order to Western Residential Energy Services of Oceanside, CA under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this purchase order is to develop and implement a sampling accreditation application process for Home Energy Rating Providers, administer a quality assurance program for Home Energy Ratings Industry, and develop and provide rater training on implementation of thermal bypass checklist. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541620. NO SOLICITATIONS OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. It has been determined that Western Residential Energy Services is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement as they are the only national organization of home energy raters that represents national interests. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received by the response date of this announcement may be considered. Responses to posting must be in writing and submitted to Denise Roberson, Contracting Officer at roberson.denise@epa.gov. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
