- N00244 Naval Base 937 North Harbor Drive San Diego, CA Laura Maxwell 619-532-2365 This is published as a sole source announcement under the authority of the test program for commercial items (Section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996). The proposed contract action is for commercial supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to the authority FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii). See Note 22. The NAICS code for this action is 334512. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) San Diego, CA intends to award a sole source contract to TSI incorporated to satisfy requirements set forth by Navy Region Southwest. The requirement includes the following: CLIN 0001: TSI 8020 Portacount Fit Tester with AC Adapter, alcohol cartridge alcohol fill capsule, storage cap, two 1602066 zero check filters, operation model and service manual model, 8016 alcohol supplies, 3/16 and ? hose adapters, two spare alcohol wicks case, Fitplus Fit Test software CD, model 8927 RS 232, interface cable and training video QTY: 8 CLIN 0002: TSI 8928 Portable Printer QTY: 8 CLIN 0003 TSI 80211 Thermal paper for model 8928 printer (5 rolls) QTY: 8 TSI is the only known manufacturer of the Portacount Fit Tester, and S&S Supplies and Solutions is the only manufacturer?s rep for the San Diego area. Interested vendors may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals, and provide evidence of delivery schedule and capability to provide the Government?s requirement within. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all statements of interest and capability received no later than 19 September. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All statements of interest/capability documentation must be submitted via email attachment or fax to the attention of Ms. Laura Maxwell at 619-532-4957. Mailed documents will not be accepted. All questions pertaining to this synopsis shall be submitted by e-mail only. Solicitation N00244-05-T-1084 issued to TSI will be posted to issued on or about 20 September 2005.
