- "This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command." The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, intends to conduct sole source negotiations with Micro Lambda Wireless, Inc. 46515 Landing Parkway Fremont, CA 94538 for the following: (1) 6-18 GHz low ripple filter with digital driver and ?enable?; P/N MLFP-76018LMD; (2) 2-26 GHz filter with digital driver and ?enable?; P/N MLFP 72026MD; (3) 500 MHz to 2 GHz filter with digital driver and ?enable?; P/N MLFP-40520MD and (4) 2-18 GHz band reject filter with digital driver and ?enable?; P/N MLFR-0218MD. Sole Source is based on need for compatibility requirements with current control hardware and software from Micro Lambda. The NAICS Code is 334419 with a size standard of 500 employees. The order shall be a firm fixed priced contract. FOB destination shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used. The quotation number is N00178-05-Q-3068 and is a Request for Quotation. The closing date will be 2:00 EST on 20 September 2005 with an anticipated award date of 24 September 2005. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT ISSUE A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR QUOTATION AS ALL ITEMS ARE IDENTIFIED IN THIS NOTICE. All interested parties shall indicate their interest and capability with their quote. Electronic quote submission is encouraged at XDS13@nswc.navy.mil, but the quote and capability statements may be faxed to the attention of XDS13-5 at (540) 653-6810, which shall be considered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. This synopsis, with any applicable amendments will be available on the Work Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/wwwDL/XD/SUPPLY/ . Vendors! should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments. DoD will no longer award contracts to contractors not registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) database.
