- DESCRIPTION: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ), Solicitation Number Q8221050100. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. The North American Industrial Classification System code is 333319 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed contract is set aside for small businesses. The solicitation is for a Chlorine Gas Injection System for 150 pound cylinders - bank of 8 cylinders with auto changeover for unmanned pumping station with all accessories. F.O.B. point is Grand Canyon National Park, Grand Canyon, AZ 86023. Specifications: 1. Wallace & Tiernan V10K Chlorinator Package - 200 pounds per day max capacity - 10" high rotameter scale - panel mounted to include: Automatic - motor driven chlorine gas feeder with direct 4-20 mA control - 115 VAC, 2-each (4 total) 3/4" injector with 193S throat and tailway, 30 ppd rotameter, gas flow transmitter, or equal 2 Pkg 2. Wallace & Tiernan 210M Vacuum Regulatory Package - 200 pounds per 24 hours (4 double units or 8 single unit vacuum regulator for 8 chlorine cylinders (150# cylinders)) - capable of automatic changeover - direct attachment to 150 pound chlorine cylinder valve, to include: 20 lead gaskets, 1 wrench, 1 bottle of ammonia solution, or equal 4 Pkg 3. Wallace & Tiernan 210S Automatic Switchover Vacuum Regulator Package (to allow switchover between 8 chlorine cylinders - quantity depends upon design function), to include 1 pair automatic switchover vacuum regulator, 20 lead gaskets, 1 wrench, 1 bottle of ammonia solution, or equal 2 Pkg 4. 150-4 Chlor-Scale (4 position) to include: 1 Wizard 4000 Advanced Digital Indicator, 4 Channels, 4 Single Cylinder PVC Platform, 4 Load Cells, 4 Chaining Brackets, 4 4-20 mA Outputs, (2 cylinder or 4 cylinder platform scales acceptable), or equal 2 Each 5. PVC-150 Spare Single Cylinder Platform and Load Cell Assembly 1 Each 6. Wallace & Tiernan Depolox3+ Residual Analyzer to include: 1 single input electronic package, 1 membrane electrode housing, 1 free chlorine probe, 1 each 6'6" cable, or equal 1 Each 7. Recommended Spare Parts Package to include 1 1" Wye Strainer, 1 lot 3/8" tubing - 100 ft, 2 spare standard 3/4" injector, 2 spare injector throat PX148961, 4 spare injector trailway PXS48962, 1 spare 210 M vacuum regulator, 1 spare automatic switchover vacuum regulator, or equal 1 Pkg Offerors to submit quote for one (1) contract line numbers (CLIN) as follows: CLIN 0001: Chlorine Gas Injection System for 150 pound cylinders - bank of 8 cylinders with auto changeover for unmanned pumping station with all accessories, 1 Unit $__________________________. The Government plans to award a firm fixed price contract without discussions resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Offeror shall identify the manufacturer and specifications of the items offered. Offeror must submit a completed SF Form 1449 and complete an online Representations and Certifications application at http://orca.bpn.gov. The clause FAR 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors-Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, and FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
