Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Lower Colorado Region, Davis Dam, has a requirement for the factory overhaul of Woodward XX Herringbone Oil Pump as follows: Davis Dam Governor Rehabilitation Statement of Work General Requirement The Bureau of Reclamation, at Davis Dam, near Bullhead City, Arizona, requires the overhaul of all five Hydro Woodward Governors. All labor and equipment to perform the overhaul shall be supplied as part of this contract. Governor parts shall be refurbished or replaced to meet original governor specifications/tolerances. Davis Dam has 5 governors to be overhauled. The contract requires that at least one governor be overhauled each year of the contract. The contract requirement shall include: The contract shall be indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) with a minimum order of $1,000 per year and a maximum order of $90,000 per year for a five year period. The first contract year will begin in FY 2006 with delivery prior to January 1, 2006. The last contract year will be FY 2010 with delivery prior to January 1, 2011. Scope of Work 1. Overhaul Herringbone Oil Pump 2. Overhaul Permanent Magnetic Motor (PMG) and Remagnetization 3. Overhaul Auxiliary Speed Switches 4. Overhaul Mechanical Cabinet Actuator 5. Clean Governor Oil System 6. Furnish all labor and equipment to perform overhaul. 7. Qualified contractors must have experience with Hydroelectric Woodward governors and governor tolerances. Mohave County wage rates will apply. This will be awarded on an all or none basis. For technical questions please contact Aaron Thompson (928) 754-3621. This requirement is being procured under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is set-aside for small businesses. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 333611. The size standard is 1,000 employees. Effective October 1, 2003, prospective vendors must be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) prior to the award of a contract. You may register by going to www.ccr.gov. You will need your Dun & Bradstreet number and banking information. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote (RFQ) will be issued on or about September 13, 2005, and awarded on or about September 26, 2005; however, all dates in this announcement are subject to change.
