Description

SOLE-SOURCE SPARES REQUIREMENT TO ARGO-TECH CORPORATION (CAGE: 86090), 671 W 17TH ST, COSTA MESA, CA 92627. GOVT DOES NOT POSSESS SUFFICIENT MANUFACTURING DATA TO PURCHASE COMPETITIVELY. ARGO-TECH CORPORATION HAS ACQUIRED ALL MANUFACTURING RIGHTS AND DATA PERTAINING TO THIS NSN LISTED ITEM. ARGO-TECH CORPORATION IS THE ONLY KNOWN SOURCE THAT CAN SATISFY THE GOVERNMENT REQUIREMENT. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS DO NOT APPLY AS ARGO-TECH CORPORATION OWNS THE DATA RIGHTS FOR MANUFACTURE OF THIS NSN ITEM. NEW MANUFACTURE SOLICITED, however, the Government will consider NEW/UNUSED Government Surplus as long as it passes the stringent Government inspection requirements. Surplus inspection requirements will be included in the Solicitation when issued. Noun: VALVE, REGULATING FLUID NSN: 4810-01-094-4568RK Part Number: AV19A1031-111 Applicable to: F-15 EAGLE QTY: 40 EA Description: The valve is designed to automatically maintain within close limits, a predetermined outlet pressure which may be adjustable within a specified range regardless of the higher fluctuating or constant inlet pressure. It is designed for use with compressed gas (ES) and various liquids and may include gauges. It may be inline or cartridge (manifold) design. Excludes regulator, pressure, medical gas administration apparatus; regulator, oxygen, barometric continuous flow; regulator, oxygen demand; and regulator, oxygen diluter demand. Aluminum body alloy. Destination: Tinker AFB, OK FB2039 Required Delivery Date: 40 EA, On or Before 30 APR 2007. Under the authority of FAR 6.302, the proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days (30 if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with the firm listed. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources. Based on market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) in the planned solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer, their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. FY06 FUNDS APPLY TO THIS ACQUISITION. AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS CLAUSE SHALL APPLY. NO OBLIGATION MAY BE INCURRED BY THE GOVERNMENT UNTIL FY06 FUNDS AVAILABILITY HAS BEEN CERTIFIED.
