- Description
- The USPTO plans to issue a sole source task order to BindView Corporation, 5151 San Felipe, 25th Floor, Houston, Texas 77056 under BindView?s GSA Schedule Contract number GS-35F-0086J. This task order will be issued for an Enterprise License Agreement for licenses and maintenance on a total of 10,619 licenses for the following manufacturer part numbers: R-RMS-CON-SITE, G-R-W2K-S, G-R-W2K-U, G-R-BVC-W2K-W, G-R-XCHM-RMS, G-R-XCHS-RMS, G-R-BVC-UNIX-S. The USPTO has already made a significant investment in BindView security products. Switching to another product is not feasible due to the cost of removing the current software and installing new software as well as the cost of re-training the current staff. As the manufacturer, only Bindview can provide the Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) method of licensing BindView software. Based on the above, BindView is uniquely qualified to satisfy the requirement of the USPTO.
