- This modification changes the expected award date to November 2005. The synopsis should read: The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) intends to solicit on a competitive basis a multiple award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for the acquisition of TSA Explosive Trace Portals for purchase, deployment and operational maintenance. Expected award date is November 2005 and the period of performance for the IDIQ contract(s) will be a base of three (3) years for purchase and deployment; and four (4) one-year options, to provide maintenance. The work under the contract will include purchase and delivery, site preparation, maintenance, training, and engineering services of the ETPs. The units shall be composed of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and Non-Development Item (NDI) hardware and software to the maximum extent practicable. The objective of this effort is to purchase government ETPs from contractors on the Qualified Products List.
