- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subparts 12 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this Notice. This Notice constitutes the only solicitation; Quotes are being requested via this Notice. A separate, written solicitation will not be issued. The Internal Revenue Service is interested in acquiring scanning services. The NAICS Code is 561410; the small business size standard is $6,000,000. This will be a firm fixed price contract. This requirement is set-aside for small business only. Award will be made to the offeror whose quote offers the lowest overall price, technically acceptable. Offers should include pricing for per page (image) labeling, per page (image) scanning, coding per document and check and hyperlink creation. All quotes must be received to the contract specialist no later than 4:00 p.m., PST on September 22, 2005, Attn: Christine Matschkowsky. Contractor must operate within the IRS locality (approx. within a 50 miles radius). Secured location must meet the Security and Disclosure IRM requirements for a Restricted Access area. All clauses may be viewed at www.acqnet.gov. Project consists of 8 boxes containing approximately 25,000 pages, of which 7000 pages are 11 x 17 that will be split into two images, for a total of approximately 32000 scanned images. Documents will be physically Bates labeled, scanned to tiff, logically doc broken, and coded per clients request. The final product will consist of approximately 5-6 volumes on cd that will contain images, coded .csv file, and an Access database with all coded data and a hyperlink to all corresponding images for that record. Start date is date of award.
