- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport has a requirement for the following: CLIN 0001: Prepare Torpedo Retriever TR-6 for Shipping. Provide labor, equipment and material to prepare Torpedo Retriever TR-6 for shipping in accordance with the statement of work. This requirement includes: Haul Out and Pressure Was the Hull, Drain All Liquid Loads; Manufacture Shipping Cradle; Heavy Lift Crane and Rigger Service; Towing Services; and Manufacture of Spare Lifting Slings. Anticipated performance to begin on date of award and end October 8th or 9th. Services to be performed at Contractor?s Facility and at Indian Island, Washington. Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued by 09 Aug 05. The closing date of the solicitation will be September 19, 2005, 3:00 PM Pacific Time. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link www.neco.navy.mil. Offerors wishing to subm! it an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to klosem@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP / amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your offer nonresponsive and result in rejection of the same. Based upon market research, this procurement will be in accordance with policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items.
