- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Government intends to purchase on a sole source basis one-year hardware and software repairs and upgrades for existing hardware systems at CDSA Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, Virginia from Security Co. Inc., DBA HSM Security Monitoring, 1533 Tech Drive, Suite 101, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320. Security Co. Inc. is an authorized local dealer who can perform the repairs, provide replacement parts, and has knowledge of existing hardware layouts, software builds, and access control locations. Interested p! arties other than Security Co. Inc. must be able to demonstrate in writing their capability to provide the requested service by 21 September 2005. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561621 with a size standard of $10.5 Mil. The order shall be a firm fixed priced order for a 12-month period through 30 September 2006. FOB Destination shall apply. Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used. This procurement is DO priority rated. Anticipated award by no later than 01 October 2005. The RFQ number is N00178-05-Q-1927.
