Description
Market Survey AN/AVR-2B(V) This is a market survey to locate sources for the production and services relating to the the AN/AVR-2B(V)1 and the AN/AVR-2B(V)2 Laser Detecting Set (LDS). The AN/AVR-2B(V)1 consists of four Sensor Units, SU-130B/AVR-2B(V) and one Interface Unit Comparat or, CM-493B/AVR-2B(V). The AN/AVR-2B(V)2 consists of six Sensor Units, SU-130B/AVR-2B(V) and one Interface Unit Comaparator, CM-493B/AVR-2B(V). The proposed acquisition is for a five year Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), R equirements contract. Range pricing, by contract year will be required for a maximum quantity up to 1,500 LDS over the five year contract period. Deliveries would begin nine (9) months after contract award at a rate of at least five (5) per month. This L DS has been previously procured from Goodrich Corporation, 100 Wooster Heights Road, Danbury, CT 06810, CAGE Code 8F963. Complete technical data suitable for the manufacture of this system is not available from the Army. However, the unclassified perform ance based specification related to this market survey for informational purposes only and may be accessed by utilizing this URL, https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. The spec will be listed using solicitation number W15P7T-05-R-W266. Potential sources are req uested to submit a statement of their interest along with a description of their proposed technical approach and experience in the production of airborne tactical laser warning receivers within 30 days from the posting date of this notice. The responses s hall demonstrate knowledge of the system, including the ability of the proposed product to be physically and functionally backwards compatible to the AN/AVR-2A(V)1, NSN: 5865-01-346-4772, part No. A3177176. The response shall also provide a detailed descr iption of the facilities and equipment to be utilized for the production and testing. Sufficient data must be submitted with your response to adequately demonstrate interchangeability and acceptable performance.
