- The US Army-ARDEC is planning on awarding sole source to Georgia Oven Company, Inc., located in Alpharetta, GA, to purchase a vacuum oven system to support the new Detonators & Explosive Trains Laboratory being established at ARDEC. Georgia Oven Company was the one company which met the technical requirements and met NEC requirements for Class II, Division I and II, Groups E, F and G per NFPA 70 Article 500. Georgia Oven Company, Inc. also meets all hazardous requirements and has all the parts fitted for explosion proof operation. POC: Ms. Morgan Ross, mross@pica.army.mil. See Numbered Note 22.
