Description

Classification Code: J MAINTENANCE, REPAIR, & REBUILDING OF EQUIPMENT The contractor shall provide all qualified personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform contracted services, unless specified as provided by the Government. Contractor tasks include: preventive maintenance contract on an Uninterruptible Power Supply and batteries from 1 Oct 05 ? 30 Sep 06. Commercial solicitation number FA4484-05-T-0035 will be issued on or about 9 Sep 05 and quotations due date will be stated in the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued 100% small business competitive under Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 7699, NAICS code is 811310 and the related Small Business Size Standard is $6,000,000. The resulting purchase order shall be firm-fixed-price. The solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-05. All potential sources must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) in order to transact business with the government. Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a Purchase Order or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award. The entire solicitation will be made available only on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Website at Http://www.fedbizopps.gov. All FAR clauses and provisions may be reviewed and/or obtained from the Air Force FAR web site at Internet address http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. The solicitation can be accessed by following the links on the EPS website to: USAF Offices, Air Mobility Command, 305 CONS. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to this solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a proposal on this solicitation must have a Commercial and Government Entity code (CAGE code).
