- Description
- BASE CUSTODIAL SERVICES, HURLBURT FIELD, FLORIDA. Hurlburt Field is an Air Force installation that is located in the Florida Panhandle mid-way between Panama City and Pensacola, Florida. This acquisition is reserved under the Section 8(a) Program for firms located in the Small Business Administration (SBA) Region 4 limited to 8(a) certified firms in Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi. Contractor shall provide a letter from the SBA showing proof of Section 8(a) status, or in the case of a teaming arrangement or joint venture, provide evidence of SBA sanction of the teaming effort. Joint Ventures are allowed on competitive 8(a) set-asides, however, the joint venture agreement must be received by the SBA prior to proposal due date and approved before award of a resulting contract. In addition, contractors must submit evidence of SBA approved ?bonafide office? within SBA Region 4 with their proposal. Responses will be accepted only from firms meeting the above criteria at the time of proposal receipt. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561720 with a size standard of $14,000,000.00. The contract award will be based on Price Performance Trade-Off and Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. The resulting contract shall be a firm fixed-price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quanitity with a Base Year and Four (4) Option Years. The contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, and supplies to accomplish the custodial services required by Hurlburt Field in accordance with the Performance Work Statement provided in the solicitation. The issuance date for this solicitation is projected to be on/about 03 October 2005 A pre-proposal conference will be posted with the solicitation. Prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of a Government contract. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the CCR database will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
