Description

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Cerulean Corporation, Richmond, VA 23222, to purchase one each, 5 Channel Linear Smoking Machine (Model SM405) that meets the standards of the International Standards Organization. The authority for this acquisition is FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy the Bureau Requirement. Anticipated award date is September 20, 2005. This is not a request for competitive proposals, and no solicitation is available. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by responding to the requirement and give written notification to1` the Contracting Officer. The response must reference Solicitation No. BATF-0516. Only faxed or e-mailed responses will be accepted. Responses must include the itemized price, prompt payment terms, F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin), Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNs), point of contact (including name, telephone number, with e-mail address), and descriptive literature of the product. The award winner must be registered with the Central Contractors Registration to be eligible for award.
