- The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), National Veterinary Services Lab (NVSL) in Ames, IA intends to procure a 3-stage liquid fill machine to be able to fill, cap, and crimp seal bottles for the virology lab. The USDA intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for this effort. This will be a best value procurement. It is anticipated that the formal solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) 070-M-APHIS-05, will be released on or about September 12, 2005 and posted on this FEDBIZOPPS website. Please download the RFP from this website. This procurement will be a total small business set-aside. NAICS code is 333193 (size standard 500 employees).
