- Description
- This is an unrestricted acquisition. Offerors are required to meet the requirements of the drawings and quality assurance provisions. The drawings are available during open solicitation at hhtp://abiweb.dscp.dla.mil/abi. For additional information concerning technical data, please call (215)737-7154/7140. The quantity is 10,000 and will include an option for increased quantities. Offerors will be asked to submit pricing and delivery on 10,000 pieces. Offerors will also have an opportunity to provide pricing and delivery on three quantity ranges within the 10,000. The Government is requesting a delivery time of 30 days ADO and FOB destination. Offerors quoting FOB Origin are subject to additional evaluation factors. Offerors are encouraged to provide grilled delivery schedules beginning with 30 days ADO. In determining contract awards, the Contracting Officer will make a comparative assessment of the offeror's performance risk by using the Automated Best Value System. Preference may be given to offerors with the earliest possible delivery. It is the Government's intent to make multiple awards. All responses to the solicitation must be submitted to the Business Opportunities Office by 1:00PM EST on Monday, September 19, 2005. REQUEST FOR SOLICITATION EXTENSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED! The anticipated award date for this contract is Friday, September 23, 2005. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. This acquisition is subject to the requirements of the Trade Agreements Act of 1979 and Numbered Note 12 applies.
