Description
The purpose of this amendment is to remove the requirement for 10 ga. steel walls and roof. The material must be steel, but 10 ga. is not needed. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Purchase Request number is F2X3B25166A400 as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The solicitation document and incorporate provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-05 (27 Jul 2005) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) change notice 20050001. It is the offeror’s responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. This acquisition is for the purchase of the following items: Three (3) each 4 x 6 Prefabricated Steel Attendant Booth with trailer. Unit to be constructed of minimum 2"x2"x.083 structural steeltube frame with r-10 insulated, 10ga galvanized steel walls and roof. Unit to be designed for exterior use with 8" fasica 3" overhang on all sides. Additional items include, 11ga steel plate floor covered with Ester Alkyd non skid paint, one steel frammed sliding door with complete hardware, one sliding window opposite of the door, fixed windows on all other sides, all windows glazed with 1/4" tinted temperate glass, interior florescent light with wall switch, 120/240 volt 8 pole 125 amp single phase wired to an exterior weather deep steel shelf, 1500 watt electric wall heater and one color paint finish. Also included are 2 each exterior mounted dual bulb flood lights with interior wall switch, 1 each 8000 BTU wall mounted air conditioner and 1 each 4000 watt generator mounted to the front of the trailer deck, a power cord receptacle wired from the breaker panel to the booth exterior and delivery. No specs or drawings will be provided, this is a commercially off the shelf item. This requirement is currently unfunded, FAR 52.232-18, availability of funds applies. Award will be made based on best value for the Government. The acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 423310 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated by reference and are to remain in full force in any resultant purchase order; FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Item (Jan 2005) and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals (Oct 1997) applies to this acquisition. Submit signed and dated quotes on company letterhead. The Government will make an award to the lowest priced, responsible, contractor whose quote conforms to the solicitation. The contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database and Wide Area Workflow. Offerors must be registered in the Online Representations and Certifications system at http://orca.bpn.gov) and provide a completed DFARS 252.225-7000, Buy American Act-Balance of Payment Program Certificate (Apr 2003) with the quote. Clauses and provisions may be accessed via the internet, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (Oct 2003) is incorporated into this RFQ and is amended to add the following clauses: FAR 52.204-4, Printed or Copied Double-Sided on Recycled Paper (Aug 2000) and FAR 52.204-7 Central Contractor Registration (Oct 2003). FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Jan 2005).
