- This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for a commercial item Voice Recorder for the Bureau of Land Management, Alaska Fire Service, Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written solicitation will not be issued. Firm, fixed price offers are requested under the Request for Quotes (RFQ) LAQ052037. This document incorporates provisions and clauses which are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-04. This solicitation is set- aside 100 % for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICA) code is 423690 with a size standard of $13 million. The requirement is for: 1 each 24 channel digital Voice Recorder to meet the following specification: a. Record all individual radio channels from Alaska Fire Service (AFS) radio console 4-wire circuits to permanent digital storage. b. Allow AFS users to monitor a particular channel in real time from and individual client workstation. c. Allow AFS users to replay recent or archived radio traffic at individual client workstations. d. Provide unlimited client licenses. e. Must be able to operate when isolated form the AFS network except for the port(s) required for client software operation. f. Provide a means to isolate the recorders from the AFS network. g. Provide a minimum of 3600 hours of storage on local storage media. h. Provide archival storage using removable Serial ATA Hard drives (NOT DAT or DVD). i. Provide a means for remote administration of the recording units. 2 each, 8 channel, Digital Voice Recorder to meet the following specifications: a. Quotes shall be received by September 16, 2005 at the Bureau of Land Management, Alaska State Office, 222 W. 7th Ave, #13, Anchorage, Alaska 99513 or by FAX (907) 271-4595. All responsible offerors may submit quotes at that, if timely received, shall be considered for award. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website, www.ccr.gov.
