- Description
- The Government intends to procure the following items under a firm-fixed price delivery order to provide and install equipment to Retrofit existing CCTV camera sets with current model PTZ dome cameras using existing cables and hardware. Upgrade obsolete VHS recorder with new DVR and provide new controls and include operations training for users. Delivery for the resulting delivery order will be 120 days ADC. ADT Security Services, Inc. of Alexandria, Virginia is the sole proprietary manufacturer of these supplies and services. The statutory authority for pursuing this action, on a sole source basis, is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(c). There is only one source capable to provide necessary compatible support and no other source will satisfy agency requirements. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 09 September 2005 by downloading http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This applicable NAICS code is 561621. All responsible sources must submit p! ricing data by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation is and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available for downloading at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended or debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contract from a Federal Agency. The contracting officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award. NOTE 22 apply
