Description

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Waubay National Wildlife Refuge, has a need for a GPS, wireless, survey system, not included in GSA schedule. The system must include a rover, base unit, controller and all associated components incuding tripod and survey rod, the software required to operate the GPS, lifetime technical assistance, minimum 400 MgHz processor speed, memory of 64 MB, color display. Tolerance specifications at a minimum will be vertical of 5mm + 0.5 ppm, static and horizontal of 3mm +0.5ppm, static. The system range must be a minimum of 4 miles and must have the ability to automatically hop between frequencies within its range. Cable free communication is required for both the rover and base unit. Internal memory shall be up to 128 MB and data update rate shall be up to 20 times per second. It is the intent to purchase the equipment from a local contractor for the purposes of on-site training, minimum of three days, to the employees at the Refuge.
