Description
POINT OF CONTACT IS MR. ALLEN HARRISON, FAX 251-694-3626. THIS PROJECT IS ADVERTISED ON AN UNRESTRICTED BASIS PURSUANT TO THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. In general, the work shall consist of the following: Design and constr uct a 34,460 square foot Security Forces Facility. The work will include concrete foundations and floor slabs, masonry walls, stucco exteriors, metal roof systems, fire detection and suppression, HVAC, elevator, emergency power, utilities, parking, site improvements, O&M manuals and other required support. Work also inc ludes anti terrorism/force protection physical security in compliance with DOD minimum construction standards and demolition of the existing control tower. Work also includes demolition of the existing 15,500 square foot Security Forces Facility. Estimate d cost range of the project is from $5,000,000 to $10,000,000. Solicitation documents should be available on or around 22 September 2005. Mr. Edward M. Slana is Contracting Officer for this project.
