- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes ar e being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W31P4Q-05-T-0851. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-02. This requirement is for Requirements and Concepts Analysis Simulation Tool (R CAST), 1 ea, part number 5000RTL. This software tool will be used to support the development of an AH-64D Longbow Virtual Prototype Simulator supporting future demonstrations of weapons systems concepts, platform integration, and functional analysis with regard to Multipurpose Display (MPD) representations. Inspection/Acceptance/FOB will be destination. All responsible sources may submit an offer and shall be considered by the Agency. Justification for other than full and open competition is FAR 6.302- 1, Only One Source or Only a Limited Number of Responsible Sources. Anticipated award will be to Camber Corporation, 635 Discovery Dr. NW, Huntsville, AL 35806-2801. Any award issued on this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all c lauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors, Commercial Items; Clause 52. 212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions, Commercial Items; and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, are applicable to this acquisition. Offer is due no later than COB, 16 September 2005, in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B152, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. Electronic quotes/offers are acceptable. Quotes/offers received after the specified date will not be considered for award.
