- The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) intends to award a follow-on contract in support of the Nuclear Test Personnel Review (NTPR) Program. The NTPR program is a Department of Defense (DoD) program managed by DTRA that serves military personnel and DoD civilian employees who participated in U.S. atmospheric nuclear testing (1945-1962), with the occupation forces of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, or were prisoners of war in Japan at the conclusion of World War II. The scope of this work includes dose assessments, information management, veteran assistance/outreach and program management in support of the NTPR program. A cost-plus-award-fee contract is contemplated with a one-year base period and seven one-year optional periods of performance. The solicitation, when released, will be in the form of a Request for Proposals and will be published on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fedbizopps.gov). The solicitation will be available for response on a fully open and competititve basis. The solicitation is estimated to be released no earlier than 26 September 2005. Eligible contractors must possess a Top Secret facility clearance at time of contract award and Secret to Top Secret clearances for employees.
