- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for the purchase of a Laser Metrology Measurement System to compliment the existing system and plan to issue a request for quotation NNG05124322Q, to purchase the system from Agilent Technologies, Inc, in accordance with the requirements of FAR 13.106, for the acquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonably available from only one source. Product/Description: Item 1 1 each laser head for transducer systems Item 2 1 each 33 PCT Beam Splitter Item 3 1 each 50 PCT Beam Spliter Item 4 2 each Beam Bender Item 5 2 each Single beam interferometer Item 6 4 each Retroreflector for item # 5 interferometer Item 7 1 each High resolution interferomter Item 8 1 each Plane Mirror Reflector Item 9 1 each Adjustable Mount Item 10 2 each Adjustable Mount Item 11 2 each Remote Receiver Item 12 2 each Receiver cable - 5m Item 13 2 each Laser Head Cable - 3m Item 14 1 each PC servo-axis board Item 15 1 each Power Supply Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on the response date listed above. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
