- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N68836-05-T-01X7 is issued as a SOLE SOURCE Request for Quotation (RFQ) . This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-04. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 are applicable to this procurement. 01 Virtual Business Owners Training Program For the period September 2005 through 31 August 2006 Project Manager ? 50 Monthly hours Serves as the project?s contract manager, and shall be the authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO), the Contracting Officer?s Rep (COR). Responsible for the overall contract performance and administrative duties; coordinate VBO content development and management activities and maintain regular communications with VBO Partnership Primary POC?s; Provide online environment; oversee the marketing and promotion of the VBO program; schedule and conduct onsite ?Introduction to Virtual Business Ownership? presentation briefings at selected military bases. Senior Subject Matter Expert/Online Instructor ? 80 Monthly hours Conducts research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepares appropriate training modules; prepares all instructor materials; trains personnel by conducting online VBO entrepreneurial courses, workshops, and seminars; update online tutorials; provide content to VBO knowledge management system; educate military spouses regarding services offered by Small Business Administration; conduct mentoring sessions; maintain success stories; establish and maintain an Events Calendar Section with VBO Knowledge Management System Contractor MUST BE REGISTERED IN CCR. http://www.ccr.gov Interested vendors must submit offers no later than 22 September 2005 in order to be considered.
