- 8. DESCRIPTION: The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center,Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm fixed price supply type contract to be negotiated on a full and open basis with for a Weld Rod Flux Analyzer (Multiphase Carbon, Hydrogen, Moisture Determinator) LECO Model RC-412CP or equal. The Weld Rod flux Analyzer Model RC-412CP or equal shall consist of the following: Furnace control system ramping, Oxidizing/Inert atmosphere, High and low range carbon cells, and Moisture detection specific to water, not weight loss. In addition, the following components are required for the Model RC-412CP or equal: Electronic Balance Automatic Compensator Interface, Balance 4 place, Tool Kit, Copper Oxide (50 grams), dual Oxygen Regulator, Dot Matrix Printer, Cartridges for printer, Helium Regulator, Quartz Boat, Nickel Boat Liner, combustion filter and numerous other features to be detailed in the formal. Technical data required: Three (3) each English language Operational, Maintenance and Repair Manuals, Consumable Spare Parts List, PCB Certification, OSHA Compliance Statement and PMD Calibration Certification. The offer for the Weld Rod Flux on-site training, operation test, technical manuals, FOB Destination pricing and a 12 month warrant to include design, materials and workmanship in support of Naval Intermediate Facility Silverdale, WA 98315. Delivery date shall be 100 days after date of contract. The commercial solicitation, N00406-05-T-1826, will be issued on or about 09 September 2005 with a closing date of 19 September 2005. Proposed contract to be procured using commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13.5. 9. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil under Solicitation Number N00406-05-T-1826. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments.
