- Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound, in support of Puget Ship Repair Facility Yokosuka Japan, has a requirement for a LCC-19 Radar Tank Level Idicator systems including installation. This procurement is to be negotiated on a sole source basis with Naval Automation Group. Shipping to be FOB destination Travis Airforce Base. Services to begin 01 Oct 2005. Place of delivery will be Yokosuka Japan. The required final delivery and installation is 12 weeks after award. The anticipated contract type of award may be of the firm, fixed price Supply type for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. This acquisitioin is being conducted under FAR parts 12 and 13.5. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals prior to offer due date, which will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation will be issued on or about 09 Sept 2005 and close on or about 17 Sept 2005. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
