- Description
- The Government intends to procure the following items under a firm-fixed price purchase order for 2 each KU to C-Band Translator, Model # D-72-11, 85-3.8-C19533 and 2 each Remote Control Terminal, Model # RCTR-11.85-3.8-C19533. Delivery for the resulting purchase order will be 120 days ADC. MITEQ of Hauppauge, New York is the sole proprietary manufacturer of these supplies. The statutory authority for pursuing this action, on a sole source basis, is 10 USC 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(c). There is only one source capable to provide necessary compatible support and no other source will satisfy agency requirements. A complete RFQ package will be available on or about 07 September 2005 by downloading http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This applicable NAICS code is 334220. All responsible sources must submit pricing data by 4:00 p.m. on the date the offer is due. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation is and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will only be available for downloading at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended or debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contract from a Federal Agency. The contracting officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerors at anytime prior to award. The prospective awardees must be registered in the CCR database prior to award. NOTE 22 apply.
