- Description
- This is a pre-solicitation notice to advise potential vendors of a 100% set-aside for competitive award among certified 8(a) firms for commercial services in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12.6, 15, and 19 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes that HQINSCOM is contemplating to finalize and award a Firm Fixed Price contract within the next few weeks. The period of performance is anticipated to be (1 October 2005 t o September 30, 2006) with four (4) additional one year periods (Option 1, 1 October 2006 to September 30, 2007, Option 2, 1 October 2007 to September 30, 2008, Option 3, 1 October 2008 to September 30, 2009). And Option 4, 1 October 2009 to September 30, 2010. The contract line items by name are: CLIN0001 Telecommunications Labor; Firm fixed price, CLIN0002 Telecommunications Material/Travel and ODCs, a Cost CLIN - materials to be acquired and supplied on a cost-reimbursable basis, no profit/fee all owed. Reimbursement shall be at the invoice price plus G&A; Travel shall be reimbursed in accordance with the provisions of the Joint Travel Regulations in effect at the time travel is conducted. Reimbursement shall be at cost plus G&A, no profit allowed. The contemplated NAICS Code is 517910. The Size Standard is $18 Million under SIC Codes 7373 and/or 7378. Award will be made based upon the best value to the Government. All Offerors will be asked to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212 -3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (JAN 2004) submitted with their offer after HQINSCOM posts the solicitation notice. The acquisition will be conducted using competitive 8A procedures.
