- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for Tyndall AFB for the following commercial items: Item: Sixteen (16) sets of lockers with banks of ten (10) each. Eight (8) of the sixteen (16) sets shall be grey in color and the remaining eight (8) shall be azure blue in color. (Alternate grey and azure blue sets) Dimensions are as follows: 30? W x 24? D x 78? H (lockers need to be capable of holding a double roller bag). Lockers need to be all steel with 16-gauge door, 20-gauge interior, and 24 gauge sides. Lockers shall be completely assembled, side by side (not double stacked), with each containing a combination lock and master key for house use. Each locker shall also contain a powder coated finish number. (Numbering sequence will be from 1-160) This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 337215 applies to this procurement. The small business size standard is: 500 employees. This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-25 and Defense Change Notice 20041215. FOB: Destination for delivery to Bldg 914, Tyndall AFB, FL 32403. The provisions at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this solicitation.
