- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation is issued for Request for Quotations (RFQ) # F1R24B5221A100. This solicitation document & incorporated provisions & clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-03. Offers are due to the 7th Contracting Squadron, 381 3rd St, Dyess AFB, TX 79607 not later than 4:30 PM central standard time on 14 September 2005. This procurment is not set-aside for small business and will be issued for full and open competition due to the ?non-manufacturer rule? as defined IAW FAR 19.001. The NIACS Code is 488110 with a size standard of $6,000,000. Request to purchase 4 EA FOD Sweeper Assembly Replacements, 2 EA FOD Sweeper Assembly. All items are required to be compatable with the FOD Boss Rapid Response Speed Sweeper. This award will be made on the basis of lowest cost, technically acceptable.
