Description
This is a combined/synopsis solicitation for commercial nonpersonal services issued by the 509th Contracting Squadron, Whiteman AFB, Missouri. This document was prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented and in accordance with FAR FAC 2001-23 with additional information included in this notice. This electronic solicitation is the only solicitation being issued, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Solicitation Number is FA4625-04-Q-0018. The NAICS code 238220 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 12 million dollars. For the item description see Statement of Work below. Completion date will be determined, accepted by 509 CES, 660 10th St, Suite 211, Whiteman AFB, MO. Site visit will be on Monday, 19 September 2005, at 0900 Central Standard Time. Attendees will need to meet at the Visitor Center at the entrance to the base. In accordance with Whiteman AFB regulations, prospective offerors need to submit the names, social security numbers, and vehicle information on all attendees. All quotes shall be received by COB 21 September 2005 at the 509th Contracting Squadron. Facsimile quotations will also be accepted at 660-687-4820. All contractors must be registered in the Department of Defense Central Contractor Registration Database prior to any contract awards. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which, if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. This solicitation will be posted on the Electronic Posting System (EPS) Internet website only. STATEMENT OF WORK: REPLACE 2 EA. IPAC FLUID COOLER WAC UNITS Building 4055 WSA WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, MO 1. Contractor shall provide all tools, parts, lubrication oils, coolants, equipment, transportation, testing and labor to facilitate replacement of 2 ea. IP AC Cooler WAC units, I Ea. Shell and Tube Cooler, and 1 ea. Extrol Bladder/Expansion tank model 30. These components, shall be provided by the selected Contractor and installed in connection to 2 Ea. water-cooled Quincy 40 H.P. air compressors. This is a closed loop system. Upon completion of installation all systems shall be operated and tested. Proper concentrations of specified coolant shall be added to the system to protect from freezing as specified by the Government. 2. Contractor shall remove all equipment that is removed or replaced under this contract from the premises of Whiteman AFB and disposed of according to state and federal regulations. All disposal costs shall be borne by the Contractor. 3. The existing parts numbers are listed herein but should be verified by site visit prior to contract award. All personnel will be under direct escort of the Government. 509 CES/CEOE will provide all escort and entry authorization list (EAL) coordination requirements include to passes etc. Contractor is required to forward all pertinent information via fax for the composition of EALs. EAL information forwarded will include names, date of birth and social security number for proof of identification. Vehicle descriptions will be included as follows: make, model, year, color, and license plate number. Contractor vehicles will be marked with company identification.
