- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-05-Q-0489 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-05. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 335999 and small business size standard: 500 employees. (v) The contractor shall provide the following items: Retrofit-grounding improvement, Tacan FRN45 antenna air terminal down conductors. Provide all labor and parts to remove and replace existing copper grounding conductors and bond to antenna base and existing earth electrode ground ring subsurface according to MIL-HDBK-419A, T.O. 31-10-24 and AFI 32-1065 as provided in previous grounding and lightning (as in Lightning Rod)protection work performed at DMAFB. Install a cable entry ground plate (12? buss bar) adjacent to cable entry port and bond to building ground. Bond existing RF cable shields to ground plate. 1EA Retrofit Installation of electrical safety switch for existing UPS Tacan FRN-45. Provide all parts and labor to install a new safety switch between existing UPS equipment and the FRN-45 equipment. Switch is to be located so it is accessible to performing maintenance without having to move around the equipment. 1EA(vii) Delivery and acceptance should be taken prior to 60 days ARO (viii) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. (ix) 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items applies. Quotes will be evaluated on price. (x) Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, or complete on ORCA website: http://orca.bpu.gov/ with its offer. (xi) Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
