- Description
- VA Connecticut Healthcare System intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Cepheid, 904 Caribbean Drive, Sunnyvale, CA 94089 to provide a Smartcycler system II unit DTOP DX. System includes processing block with 16 independent reaction sites each with 4 color optical excitation and detection; 1 desktop computer with flat panel monitor and diagnostic software; 1 operator?s manual; 4 tube racks; 1 cooling block; 1 mini-centrifuge; and 100 25uL reaction tubes. This procurement is under the authority of FAR 6.302. Businesses who feel they may be capable of providing the Smartcycler system II (brand name or equal to) shall submit all applicable information to VA Connecticut by September 12, 2005, 4:00pm (local time). The information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The determination based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of VA.
