- This is a Pre-Solicitation notice for a total 100% small business set-aside requirement. The Federal Highway Administration has a requirement to develop a manual to provide transportation engineers with design guidance for using deep mixing methods to stabilize weak in-situ materials for embankment and foundation support. Other secondary aspects of the manual will include design consideration for seismic activity, excavation support, and slope stabilization. This solicitation will only be released and available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Accordingly, NO written, telephone, facsimile or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. However, interested parties can register at the aforementioned site to receive procurement announcements/notifications of postings by e-mail. Since this solicitation will only be available electronically, it will be the responsibility of interested parties to monitor the www.fedbizopps.gov website for any solicitation amendments.
