Description
UNICOR intends to enter into a 6 month firm fixed price requirements type contract for rental of a portable heating system for the UNICOR Warehouse at FCC Allenwood. Solicitation number is ALW0001-05 and this solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). Item 0001-Heating unit for UNICOR Warehouse at FCC Allenwood. Vendor must provide a temporary heat source for the 58,250 square feet warehouse. Vendors are required to attend a pre-proposal conference/site visit to be considered for award. Design and type of heat source will be at the discretion of the vendor. Rental cost of this equipment will be for a period of approximately six (6) months. Vendors proposal shall include the following: Pricing shall include all rental charges, tie in's, installation and set up, as well as disassembly and removal of materials and equipment at the end of the contract period. All labor cost must be based on the Davis Bacon Act GENERAL DECISION: PA20030028 07/08/2005 PA28 rates. Pricing shall also include monthly maintenance by trained service technicians. Detailed pricing breakdown of all charges must be included with offer to be considered for award. All interested vendors must attend a site visit scheduled for Thursday September 15, 2005 at 12:00 noon. All interested vendors must fill out and submit NCIC background form by 8:00 am September 14, 2004. Forms may be requested by calling 570-547-1641 ext 141. This is a mandatory site visit. Any offers received without attending the site visit will not be considered for award. The completion date of this project is no later than October 21, 2005. This procurement is a small business set aside. Only offers from small business concerns will be considered. Vendors are advised that the Government intends to evaluate offers and award on an all or none basis. All vendors must complete the Business Management questionnaire in Section L of solicitation document with three references. References must be for same or similar items. All Vendors must complete the ACH form and the CCR Registration, which can be found on UNICOR's webpage at www.unicor.gov. For CCR Registration scroll down the page to Central Contractor Registration and complete internet based form. All vendors must acknowledgment all amendments if any. Offers received after the exact time and date specified will not be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer represents the best value to the government. A written notice of award or acceptance of an offer will be mailed or otherwise furnished to the successful offeror within the time for acceptance specified in the offer, shall result in a binding contract without further action by either party.
