- Description
- The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) plans to issue a purchase order on a sole source basis to Computer Aces, under the authority of 41 USC 253?(1) ongoing work that is based on a wide range of custom program code based on LabView, Visual C++ and Visual Basic associated with a number of experimental measurement setups and NIST developed instruments. Computer Aces has originated many of these programs and performed modifications on most of the remainder. The order will be awarded in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, pursuant to FAR 13.5. Interested persons may identify their interest no later than September 16, 2005. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all quotations received within the timeframe of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
