- The purpose of this synopsis is to inform vendors the Defense Information Technology Contracting Office (DITCO), Scott AFB, IL an office of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) intends to issue two purchase orders; one to L-3 Communications of Camden, NJ for Secure Telephone Equipment (STE) (NSN 5810-01-459-6441)and another to Mykotronix of Baltimore, MD for Fortezza Plus Krypton Cards (KOV-14). The cards are an integral part of the STE and therefore this is a combined synopsis. The acquisition is being conducted as a sole source acquisition IAW FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source). Companies desiring to submit an offer for the identical products can do so via email to Michael.Hamilton@disa.mil. "Or equals" are not acceptable. In the event of receiving a competitng offer, it will be evaluated by technical personnel and if determined to be satisfactory, a RFQ will be issued. The closing date for receipt of offers is COB 19 September 2005. If no responses are received by the closing date, oders will be issued to both companies.
