- This is a commercial item for Non-personal Services to provide a Community Health Nursing Research Assistant for the Department of Preventive Medicine at Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii. Solicitation W81K02-05-T-0174 applies. This is a firm fixed -price type contract. Contractor services include but are not limited to: Assistance in data gathering, interpretation, analysis, and management; knowledge of basic research principles, as well as data collection and management practices; Writing reports o utlining the processes and procedures used in a study, program operations and recommended improvements; Knowledge of the capabilities, operating characteristics, and advanced functions of a variety of types of office automation software (e.g., word process ing, desktop publishing, graphs, database, spreadsheet, communication); Knowledge of both standardized and specialized processes and procedures for evaluation research data in order to carry out the more complicated and/or innovative projects assigned. P eriod of Performance is for a Base Period (01 October 2005 through 30 September 2006) and four (4) one-year Option Periods. The proposed acquisition is a total small business set-aside.
