- NASA/KSC has a requirement for: 1. HD/SD Input Board /set for the HDS-X3000 Series Multi Format Router, P/N HKDSX3014 (4 ea) 2. HD/SD Distribution Board (32 Channel), P/N HKDSX3010 (2 ea) 3. HD/SD Matrix Board for HDS-X3000 Series Multi Format Router, P/N HKDS3060 (1 ea) 4. HD/SD Output Board for HDS-X3000 Series Multi Format Router, P/N HKDSX3064 (2 ea) 5. Digital Video Selector Board, P/N HKSP-061M (1 ea) 6. X-Y Control Unit, P/N BKSR3220 (10 ea) NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from Sony Electronics, Inc, One Sony Dirve, Park Ridge, NJ 07656. Only one responsible source available and no other supplies or servces will satisfy agency requirements. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on September 9, 2005. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
